Menu Tastings

Sara's Cooking & Catering's menu tastings allows you firsthand to experience the delicious foods & personal catering services Sara and her staff provide all of Boston, Cambridge, MetroWest and surrounding areas.

 

A private menu tasting allows you firsthand to experience the delicious foods & personal services we provide for your Wedding or Event.

 

One of our goals is for you to leave satisfied with the Menu Choices you are considering for your guests. We'll work with you to ensure your event is handled flawlessly from beginning to end.  

 

What Happens at the Tasting?

 

This is where you have the opportunity to taste a selection of our seasonal offerings from the kitchen and some of our client’s favorites. This is a Multi-course presentation taking between 60-90 minutes. We will discuss and taste, Appetizers, Side Dishes and Proteins that suit your style and budget. Be sure to come hungry! You will get to experience what your guests will taste.

 

  • For efficiency purposes, we like to limit our tastings to 2 to 4 guests.

 

  • Any dietary needs will be discussed prior to the tasting. We will also address special needs during the tasting, as you create your final menu. Special dishes for children, vegetarians or those with allergies can be made separate from the regular menu, for the day of the event

 

  • Can I take photos? Yes, the presentation will be the same as you will see at your event. In some situations, the portions will be tasting portions only. Buffet items, of course, will be an exception. Yes…take pictures.

 

  • We use the time with you at the tasting to discuss your vision for your wedding or event. We discuss colors, décor, timelines, beverages, service, linens and rentals needed. All the little things that are important to you can be covered during this meeting, we share the same goal for you perfect day  

 

  • Have fun, speak up, savor and enjoy!

Tasting Price: $250 for 2-4 people & $350 for 4-6 people. Fee which will then be applied to your total balance upon booking.
